In short, anywhere that needs a lot of air moved reliably.
Three popular sizes, a big jump in power
The STERR axial range steps up quickly, so you can match the fan to the space:
- The AXF300B (300 mm) moves 1750 m3/h, suited to a workshop, garage or small commercial room.
- The AXF400B (400 mm) moves 3700 m3/h for larger workshops, commercial kitchens and drying spaces.
- The AXF500B (500 mm) moves 6500 m3/h for warehouses, factories, agricultural buildings and industrial spaces.
How to choose the right size
A simple rule is to work out the room volume in cubic metres (length x width x height) and decide how many times per hour you want the air replaced. A workshop might need 6 to 10 air changes an hour, a commercial kitchen more. Multiply room volume by air changes to get the airflow you need, then pick the fan that comfortably exceeds it. If in doubt, size up.
